[00:29.09]I always have a hard time picking out a card for Mother
[00:34.32]When I'm browsing in the Hallmark store I haven't got a clue
[00:41.01]She doesn't like my taste in clothes or who I choose for lovers
[00:48.03]I don't imagine many mothers do
[00:54.06]But a difference of opinion never stopped this world from turning
[01:00.19]Even though we've had our share I wish that time would ease this strain
[01:06.47]So I'm choosing to remember how for her a single mother
[01:13.02]Life was often filled with struggle and with pain
[01:19.95]My mother was a singer she was beautiful and full of life
[01:26.18]She'd tuck me in with "Que Sera Sera" when I was just a kid
[01:33.11]If I become a dad one day I'll put my own to bed that way
