Corea's group featured trumpeter Marvin Stamm, trombonist Garnett Brown, Joe Farrell on tenor, pianist Chick Corea, bassist Richard Davis, and drummer Elvin Jones. Recorded live at the Village Vanguard, there are some strong moments from these fine players during the lengthy renditions but nothing all that surprising or explosive occurs.
