Vanbot sounds a lot like Robyn, though perhaps a little harder and crunchier (by Swedish pop standards, mind you). So if you're a fan of Robyn and likeminded synthpoppers such as La Roux and Annie, then do yourself a favor and buy this album. It's a more than suitable way to tide yourself over until the next Robyn album drops. If you're not a fan of Robyn, buy this album anyway and then seek out a mental health specialist to get yourself checked out. For real.
