Lazy Days is delighted to welcome New Zealander, Berlin based producer Philippa to the family. A breath of fresh air in the current musical landscape, her sudden rise on the scene in the last few years might make you think she’s a newcomer, but her story tells otherwise. Going back to the late 90s in Auckland New Zealand, she held many residencies, opening up for international acts such as Derrick Carter, Carl Craig, François K, and even a certain Fred Everything! Her early influences included Chicago House and the early french touch sound of Motorbass. She was also working at BPM Record Store and a host/dj on national radio (George FM). In 2013, she relocated to Berlin. In a city where everyone is an aspiring DJ, she put her own DJ career on pause to work as a teacher at Catalyst - Institute for Creative Arts & Technology.
