Dr. Steve Raybine is a music teacher; vibraphonist; percussionist; pianist; composer/arranger and clinician. He received degrees from the prestigious Eastman School of Music, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the University of Iowa. Raybine has taught Jazz Studies and Percussion at universities for over ten years and private studio teaching for fifteen years, also incorporating contemporary and classical piano, songwriting and vocal stylings into his offerings. Many of his students, such as Jack and Jack and Clark and Company have attained local, regional and national performing prominence. His lectures and performances have been featured on Nebraska Public Radio and Nebraska Educational Television. He has presented research papers at the International Association of Jazz Educators (IAJE) conference, which were published in conference proceedings.
