I've been a musician/guitarist since age 14. I started with rock and heavy metal and moved on to other styles over the years. This project started when my daughter's principal at KIPP Iluminar asked me to write some songs for their spring concert a few years ago.The first song was "Character Strengths". I has so much fun writing these, I decided to write another 5 songs to make a solid 10. I wanted a fun, Beatles esque sound and feel to this, I'm happy with how it came out! One song, "I Have to go to School" is a conversation my daughter and I had one day before school, so I just put it to music! Nevertheless, I had a blast doing this and would do more! All these songs are fun, catchy, but with a lesson. I'd like to give a special thanks to Mara Bond, founder of Kipp Iluminar for her support, as well as the whole staff.
