It took a number of years to complete this second album and it collects songs that have been written throughout that period. As usual I took quite some time and effort to shape the sound and arrangements the way I wanted them to sound, so „It’s about time“ seemed like the right title to me and everyone who was patient with me. I hope that you find songs and melodies that attract your mind and reach out for your heart. „Here for you“ is dedicated to my children, the greatest source of happiness in my life. „News“ shows how I feel sometime in these short-dated times where we stumble from crisis to catastrophe and so many people seek to make „a line in the news“, as Mark Knopfler put it in his reflection on news way back in 1979. And being a hopelessly romantic guy I have included a few ballads to promote John Lennon’s vision of a world of love and peace. Hope you enjoy it!
