“There's not enough praise for artists in the Columbia area, and it's not from lack of talent. Maybe there's not enough venues that support the cause, maybe the people just don't know where to find it. But it would be a shame for any soul/r&b fan from here not to know about local talent Stephanie Grissett with her impressive EP debut titled "Show Me." Writing and co-producing the three song cd, Grissett wears many hats with wonderful execution separating her effort from most local acts. A hybrid of soul and alternative layers of pop (think Corrine Bailey Rae) she has a subtle way of winning you over. This is indeed one of my favorite local releases and I anticipate great things in the future.
