Her third CD of eight original songs, Tuckerman’s Ravine combines poetry and longing, folk and jazz. Tina writes about the struggle to create versus the tasks of family. She marvels at steadfast love, feels the stinging quiet of the empty nest, and is not afraid to go to the dark places with her songs, exploring Sylvia Plath’s last days and whether William Wordsworth’s sister may have been responsible for some of the world’s greatest romantic poetry. She takes you there with beautiful melodies, haunting harmonies, and unforgettable (and sometimes provocative) lyrics.
