East Texas duo May Day bring you honest acoustic music recorded as if Jim Day and James Macon were playing in your living room. The duo combine folk, country,rock and pop with an emphasis on vocal harmonies. May Day was formed in December of 2002 when the two were brought together to split a weekly gig at the the Memphis Grill in Longview,Texas. The weekly show helped shape the duo\'s sound and quickly led to further bookings and their self titled debut CD in the spring of 2003. Jim Day is a veteran musician of East Texas performing with may local artists in a variety of gigs from R&B to country.
