Kone Hewar, translating into “Abandoned Garden”, strives to introduce to the world the remarkable potential of Kurdish music and culture, both in terms of rhythm and melody, as well as the many unique dialects and linguistic styles found among its people. Since its release a few years ago, this album has fortunately been able to accomplish this goal.
