Born in Antananarivo Madagascar, Ny Ony Razafindratandra also known as her stage name Niu Raza is a singer songwriter currently based in Boston, United States. She attended the African leadership Academy in South Africa when she found out that music would be the tool she would use to impact the African continent in a positive way. She has decided to pursue her passion then and is currently enrolled at Berklee College of Music as a performer and a music business major. Daughter of two passionate doctors, she grew up in different countries and cultures in the African continent. Her musical influences vary from Congo’s warm soukous to the deep soul Beko groove of the south of Madagascar.
