Shelly Peiken is an American songwriter who is best known for co-writing the US #1 hits “What A Girl Wants” and the Grammy nominated "Bitch," by Meredith Brooks. Shelly's first book Confessions of a Serial Songwriter was published by Backbeat Books on March 1, 2016. The audio version is now available as well. Shelly Peiken conceived the lyrical idea for the song and shared it with fellow Beatle enthusiasts Phil Thornalley and David Munday. Together they wrote and recorded the song in one day in London. Phil Thornalley is a London based songwriter and producer. David Munday is a London based polyglot, songwriter and session musician hailing from Texas.
