The CD “El Silencio del Agua” (The Silence of Water) is a six piece suite that invites us on a spiritual journey in search of the primordial - the sacred in human nature. It is a call for introspection, on a quest for essential being - our connection with nature, with the cosmos. It was inspired by water, a principal element for the existence of life in our planet. Pedro Crump is born in Bogotá Colombia in 1959. In 1979 he begins college studies in Boston. At Curry College he finishes a BA in Fine Arts and Music with a Minor in Philosophy. Then he continues his studies first in contemporary composition in New England Conservatory of Music, and then in jazz harmony, arranging and composition at Berklee College of Music.
