So, about a month ago, I was in a little bit of a creative rut (and totally in denial about it) "Yeah, I can totally finish music whenever I want, I just feel like doing nothing & playing CS:GO instead" is what I would tell myself (and believe). One weekend, I decided I’d leave my studio (where I spend most of my time alone) and instead spent a few days with a friend of mine. As an extension of being around her I found that creativity was inherent within me (and everyone for that matter), it just required me to see things from a new perspective. Unfortunately, it's not something I can just alter at will, regardless of my awareness of it.
