This song was first performed in December 2013 just days after the Supreme Court in India re-criminalised gay sex. We took it to different venues, angered and frustrated but were fortunate to receive a positive response. Still, we never put out the final studio recording as a single for everyone to listen to. When it comes to love, it can be anyone and that someone can't be part of an imposed construct of society as love is personal and intimate. There is, as we say, no reason for the LGBTQ community to bow its head for who they are, who they love and how they love. Whoever you are, live with your Head Held High!
