Friedrich Goldbaum, alias Alfredo Corenzo, was born 21 December 1903, in Vienna. He was an Austrian composer, known for The DuPont Show of the Week (1961), NBC White Paper (1960) and Traumschone Nacht (1952). Since 1956, he accompanied Maurice Chevalier on his tours. His numerous recordings were popular in his time. On this album one can listen to some of the most famous Argentine Tangos, beautiful arranged for his famous Club Tango Orchestra with whom he made numerous recordings in the 1950' and 60's. He died on August 31, 1983 in Paris, France.
