Concentrating on the tracky techno side of the Force Inc. catalog, Rush is gracious enough to open with two warmup tracks, including Ian Pooley's "Loopduelle 1," before going after the jugular. Then it's an endless assault of 909 kicks, bass-station loops, and distorted snares that Rush jogs through by himself, Thomas P. Heckmann, and another half-dozen faceless German agents. The lack of diversity means this mix will be lost on all but the most severe techno-heads. This stuff can be awesome live all night in front of a giant stack of speakers, but it's the last thing one would want to play for someone who doesn't know if they like that techno thing.
