2002's Restoration was album #3 from AOR purists Street Talk, which features the one and only Goran Edman on vocals. Restoration was the first Street Talk album I encountered, and after hearing Edman in an upbeat melodic rock setting (Kharma) as well as in a full-on metal role (with Yngwie Malmsteen), this warm, laid-back AOR album came as a surprise. I tend to prefer harder rocking music, but it's hard to deny the results, and Edman has a real gift for this kind of music.
