With his second EP for the imprint, Teddy Wong delivers again courtesy of NastyFunk Records and two more cuts that scream house music: Title track, Funkin' Jackin' works a little of both into the vibe, providing some tasty melodic bass and dark underground vibes for a wild ride through the party. Label boss, Erik Christiansen reworks the original to a much brighter, minimalistic idea, perfect for that hooky moment to change up the mood of any set. Finally 'Check This Out', is an understated nod to the father's of the Chicago and NYC movement... flat out flaunting Teddy's signature hip-hop influenced house style.
