Jig was born at Community Hospital in San Bernardino, CA on November 16th, 1985. He was raised in a single parent household and had to grow up much quicker to help his mother raise his two younger brothers. The allure of quick money, drugs, women, and music drew him into the street life in his teen years. By hustling he was able to provide the financial help that his mother needed to support their family. But he knew that deep down this wasn't the path he was destined for and he needed to be a better influence on his little brothers. He juggled the street life with trying to stay in school to better himself. Then at the age of 17, he knew that it was time to focus more on himself so he decided to take his passion for music to a new level. He went from just listening and admiring those that created the music that he loved to delving into writing and rapping.
