It’s an old story... I’ve been into music for as long as I can remember. I started playing in bands when I was 11, and working in clubs in San Diego county before I was 18. I had to spend breaks in the laundry mat across the street! Anyway, when I was 16, I met this guy named Tony Ortiz at a friend’s house. I knew right away that he was something really special. We played a few church dances and stayed in touch through the years. When we were 20, or so, we found ourselves in an all original band called Airplay. We wrote songs and had a great time for two or three years, playing odd gigs like opening for Ricky Nelson at the Roxy Theater in San Diego.
