BLVD is Denver’s most over-educated band. The four members of BLVD (the abbreviation for “boulevard,” a wide, tree-lined street) put their five masters degrees together to construct cerebral, textured rock that layers poetic lyrics over intensely rhythmic music. BLVD draws upon numerous influences, including Pink Floyd, Genesis, Talking Heads, and the omni-present, inescapable Duran Duran. The result is a fresh take on the modern progressive rock scene.
