"Salt and Light" is a new album from Contemporary Christian songwriter Bob Smith, who is following up on his other releases: "You're Not Alone," "Out of My World" (2013 Grammy considered), "Eagles' Wings," "Faith," and "24 Hours." Unlike some of the popular music today, each track on these albums contains a positive life message, for the here-and-now or the hereafter. I hope you enjoy the music. But beyond that, I pray the songs move you - to joy, to tears, to faith, to action. In particular, "Salt and Light" focuses on a wide variety of Christian themes, from hope to love to obedience to God's word. The songs convey a sense that I'm concerned about the direction of our country, at both national and individual levels. This is not a new direction, nor is it a new sentiment.
