Kev Willow has been blurring the lines between genres for quite some time now but this new EP seems to be his most experimental yet. Pushing the boundaries in house music, Brontide hits hard in all the right places. The title track 'Brontide' has a deep sound which really drives through from the bass whilst keeping it funky and fresh. This helps set the tone for the rest of this epic EP which is set upon shaking up the house world from the bottom up. Track 2, 'Everything Is Nothing' is a more chilled out affair. With a steady beat and atmosphere galore, this track is a chill out anthem which Kev can be proud of. The delicate filter work on the main synth helps add to the already brilliant track and keep it flowing nicely. The third track 'Tmesis' has an almost 'mombahton' feel which catches the user off guard after the listening to 'Everything is Nothing'.
