Transatlantic Relations is a journey through time and space, somewhere between America and Europe, childhood and adulthood, fantasy and reality. Nadine’s first solo EP evokes longing, love and the ambivalence of a generation that does not find its place. With a touch of Suzanne Vega’s story telling style, a hint of Laura Branigan’s smoky vibrato, and a Bowie vibe from Space Oddity, Nadine delivers a unique introduction. On a winter night in Montreal, bundled –up in her apartment on Durocher street, Nadine composes "Funny Love”, a dark piece about unrequited love. Fast forward a couple of years, and she is in the East Village, recording the music video for “Funny Love”. During a road trip across the States, she writes about adventure and detachment in “Sailor on the highway”. “ Berlin” plunges us back in time, to the “Love parade” of 1999 in the pulsating capital of Germany.
