Mostacho Xprmnt is an original R&B/Fusion band from Brooklyn, New York. The project was founded by Costa Rican composer and drummer Andres Marin with the purpose of compiling old collaborations, but it rapidly turned into an avenue for performing new music with amazing musicians. It then became clear that the project would experiment with many different styles of music and wouldn’t be concerned with stylistic boundaries or genre tags. After working with Najwa Mahiaddin as the lead singer for a couple of years the sound took a Soul and R&B twist; but in 2015 they regrouped with Songyi Jeon taking the lead role and providing a jazzier sound.
