Having collaborated on official remixes with legendary artists including Madonna, Britney Spears, Sir Paul McCartney and Wyclef Jean all before releasing her own formal product, Jamaican singer-songwriter Cherine Anderson already positioned herself as “one to watch”. Now, with the release of The Introduction-Dubstyle EP, fans of Anderson and her signature Dancehall Soul sound can finally own some of her infectious melodies. Cherine spent 2008 on the road, touring with Grammy Award winning legendary duo Sly & Robbie (producers on the project), as well as popular indie bands Slightly Stoopid and Pepper. She closed the year touring the US and Australia with the prolific Michael Franti & Spearhead, in promotion of their album, in which Cherine co-wrote and performs on three tracks.
