Ballads in 6/4 time are rare. Duets in two languages in 6/4 time even more so. "I Guess It's Ok" was originally released on Swedish singer/songwriter Schütz third solo album C'est La Vie (2009) in a recording with only guitar and vocals. In this new recording, a two-language duet with Brazilian singer/songwriter Vanessa Pinheiro, the two singers are backed up by a jazz piano trio and lush strings. This single was recorded and produced to be part of an album of songs written by Schütz performed by female vocalists from across the world. "Vai Ficar Tudo Bem" means 'It's going to be ok', and the Portuguese translation was written by Schütz in collaboration with Pinheiro. Vanessa Pinheiro has released two solo albums, the self-titled debut from 2004, and "Varanda".
