Yours Truly, the author of this track, was born and raised on "Fifth Avenue" in "Harlem New York" in the Riverton Houses. "Harlem New York", is a love song for a place that many of us spent part of or all of our lives in. Growing up in Harlem had it challenges but I wouldn't change the experience for any other place in the world. Of course, as an old schooler, our generation feels like the 60's was the hottest! There will never be another decade like the sixties! We had it all and transitioned through multiple cultural and historical events. Musically, we had the best of the best in it's pure form and from that, here we are. Oddly, I came from a musical background but had no interest whatsoever in playing or creating music and or lyrics at a young age.
