Chandra Lacombe, brazilian multi-instrumentist, singer and composer, has a rich musical background. At early age, as his taste for music developped, he was attracted to the Samba schools of Rio de Janeiro, playing percussion. As Afrobrasilian percussionist he later accompanyed different groups in Brasil, from the Samba and folk tunes, via mantric, instrumental and fusion music of many kinds. But it was the meeting and falling in love with the kalimba, that would further shape the musician Chandra. Kalimba is an African Melodic Percussion instrument, which he masters with refined talents.
