THIS Bob Martin Fans of the seminal 1980s band Personal Effects will recognize Bob Martin as the guitarist and one of its founding members. Based in Rochester, NY, Personal Effects had regional and national success in the club scene and on college radio. They released half a dozen records and earned rave reviews from the underground and mainstream press alike. Although Personal Effects disbanded at the end of the 80s, former members Paul Dodd, Peggi Fournier and Bob Martin have formed, together with bassist Ken Frank, Margaret Explosion.
