MONSTAR is an American rock/alternative metal band originating from Austin, TX. Helmed by American Poet John Everett Button, MONSTAR caught the interest of indie music lovers with the release of their 2015 indie debut EP, FIRST CUT, which introduced the band's cathartic rock sound with the hit, "Don't Want to Find You Anymore." Following the initial success of FIRST CUT, they released the single, "Bathing of Apollo" prior to their 2nd EP rock album release, STARving Artist. "STARving Artist" features six songs including the self-titled rock anthem "STARving Artist" which demos the group's new "Metalodic" (electro-metal) sound that mixes ethereal electric sounds, alternate heavy riffs, and both whispered and screamed vocals.
