Austin Roberts is a Canadian Funk-Pop Musician based in Toronto. He was born in Fergus Ontario in 1991 and was first introduced to music as a young child, learning guitar. In his formative years as a musician, Austin was mainly influenced by The Rolling Stones, The Guess Who, The Talking Heads and the music of the 60s and 70s. As his talent matured, he developed a unique style fusing the energy of pop with honest, soulful lyrics and funk grooves. Current influences include Marvin Gaye, Joe Walsh and Bill Withers . Austin released his debut single Rewind in 2014, and is working on new projects for the upcoming year with lots of shows in and around Toronto.
