Ross Milligan Grew up in the Scottish Borders . He began studying Jazz guitar after hearing Joe Pass, Kenny Burrell and later Pat Metheny, Ralph Towner, John Abercrombie and John Scofield. He began his professional playing career playing Jazz, Rock and function gigs in Edinburgh and Glasgow. He then moved to London where he studied at the prestigious Guildhall school of Music studying guitar with Phil Lee and John Parricelli and was finalist in Acoustic Guitarist of the Year 1996. He was also a member of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra for three years, recording three CD’s and playing with artists such as Van Morrison, Tim Garland, Buddy Greco, Fernando Tordo, George Melly and Kenny Baker.
