Born in the concrete jungle of New York City, and raised in a revolving door of homes in New Jersey, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Ohio, and Massachusetts, singer/songwriter David Gielan paid his musical dues early on. With a wide range of ability, Gielan cultivated a rich, musical foundation at the legendary, Manhattan School of Music, studying Jazz instrumentation for the bass guitar under bass virtuoso Victor L. Wooten, best known for his work with Bela Fleck and the Flecktones.
