TWAIN is a hip-hop recording artist from Chicago, by way of Minneapolis. Recording and performing since 2002, he relocated to the Twin Cities in 2003 and began pursuit of this art form that he loves and contributing great music to the hip-hop culture and beyond. He has released a slew of underground mixtapes and albums that display his style: a hodge podge of trunk rattling rap bangers, songs with introspective emotion, and purist hip-hop records, all with the Midwest flavor as the cherry on top. In 2009 he released his digital album, Truth Or Consequences (Ill County). Some of his live performances to date include the Minnesota Music Café, the historic Capri Theater, and the Fine Line Music Café. A Twin Cities Hip Hop Award nominee & 96.3 B96 Homegrown Featured Artist, TWAIN released his EP The Cost of Living & its acclaimed documentary in Winter 2014-15.
