Mainroom, hands-the-air style house is becoming quite the domain for Rico e liso, and his latest E.P. conjures up more of the same by way of enthralling melodies and epic breakdowns. Lead track 'Timberwolves' is focused around a central piano hook pumped full of uplifting raw emotion and underpinned with powerful strings and a hard-hitting beat. 'Hadouken' on the other hand takes on a slightly deeper tone as a plucked synth builds momentum throughout the course of the song, accompanied by a growling bassline and screeching top end at its pinnacle. Certainly this E.P. has 'anthem contender' written all over it.
