Dear Fast Heart Mart fans, In a few days it will be my 39th year of riding the planet around the sun. I have made another album of songs. Yes, it’s ok to call it an “album”. Just like we call a collection of photos and album. It is also ok to call it a “record” just like we would call a journal a record of our lives. It is NOT ok to call it “vinyl”, unless for some reason someone prints it on the vinyl medium, which would make little to no sense to me since the whole album was recorded digitally. I like digital. It’s less messy. It leaves little to no trace after it’s left its campsite. I can walk the streets at night with digital music. I can create playlists of all my favorite songs and not lose any fidelity. Distributing digital recordings is accessible to artists almost everywhere on the planet, wether or not they have a big budgeted marketing machine behind them or not.
