Guy G. Gorman and his G-Men play original rockabilly, polka, and country music. They manage the delicate of balance sounding fresh yet familiar all at once. Their music is heavily influenced by Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent, Buck Owens, and Frankie Yankovic, but it's not derivative. Their arrangements are classic: acoustic and electric guitars, bass, drums, harmonica, smooth baritone lead vocal, and harmonies. Guy's lyrics emphasize humor ("I Smile Like a Dummy," "I Wash the Dishes") and celebration ("Adelina Polka," "That's Right"). Periodically he'll throw in a cry-in-your-beer tearjerker like "Wishful Drinking." Sometimes his lyrics are minimalist to the extreme, as in the raucous "Gilda's Polka."
