Heather Christian is a native Mississippian. The daughter of a blues musician and a go-go dancer, she pulls primarily from Classial form and good old fashioned feeling something. She sometimes sings at church, she sometimes sings in kitchens, she sometimes sings in dark cornered establishments. She likes diving bells and red bellied swallows and fancy things. She thinks music is primary and necessary and sends her undying love to those who stop to listen. This is Heather's first album. It was recorded live one crazy afternoon in Brooklyn in 2006.
