Trio-Douze The musicians of Trio Douze are members of KIBu (League of Composers and Performers of Burgenland, Austria). The group, an ensemble in a unique and uncommon formation: oboe, bassoon and piano, was created in the year 2005 to bring variety to KIBu concerts. Since the majority of the repertoire for this formation was written mostly by French composers like Poulenc and Francaix to name a few, the trio was named “Douze”. “Douze” also stands for the Insitute 12 of the University of Music in Graz which is based in Oberschuetzen, the trio´s artistic home.
