It’s apparent that the southern-raised, Ohio native, Dion Hawkins grew up immersed in good music. Being born into a musically gifted family (Dion’s grandmother, uncle, and mother) allowed him to keep company with a myriad of dynamic musicians and made his evolvement into this gifted vocalist, musician, songwriter inevitable.
