"A Fiddler's Notebook" is a collection of tunes I composed and have performed over a roughly ten-year period from 1988 - 1998. I have always been fascinated by the variety of music the world offers, from jazz and Western classical music, to the wonderful folk music of cultures everywhere. The compositions presented here reflect the influence of the wide variety of music I play on a regular basis: contradance, old-timey, bluegrass, Scottish, swing, blues, classical, plus a few others I can’t remember!
