Welcome to my 2007 Christmas CD. This project is a little different for me since I’m usually rocking out. I have recorded a special mix of tunes to both celebrate the Christmas season and support a public awareness campaign to reduce deaths and avoid the personal tragedies caused by drunk driving accidents -- that only increase over the holiday season. The music I chose for this CD is a real mix of songs that I hope you will also appreciate. It includes my takes on a couple of traditional classics, O Holy Night and Ave Maria, that provide a nod to my classical roots and are favorites of some people very special to me. I also wanted to bring in some more contemporary pieces and found a couple of tunes that I really love -- The Pretenders’ 2000 Miles and Dylan’s haunting Dark Eyes.
