Cancellieri is the creative outlet of singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Ryan Hutchens, who says of the music, "Cancellieri is a life project. It's the family name. The music was born from street performance and playing for family, and it's grown into a way to survive. I don't think Cancellieri will ever have an end because there is always more to experiment with musically." Cancellieri released his first full length album, Welcome To Mount Pleasant, via the Columbia SC based label, Post Echo, on April 15 2014. "WTMP" continues his shift away from electronic production techniques and explores more traditional American songwriting and instrumentation.
