This album contains a selection of only the very quietest and slow paced tracks taken from Kuutana's first four albums. Tracks from earlier albums have been newly remastered especially for this album. Behind the notion of ambient soundscapes lies the idea that the music provides a backdrop, a sonic painting or movie if you will. It is meant to primarily be played at a low volume, in a quiet setting. Though the tracks are quiet, the listener will find that there are a lot of details in most tracks. Although many pieces have a basic, repeating theme (like waves on the ocean), there are many sounds that "join-in" over the course of play.
