Maybe Later was a successful promo 45rpm on the promoter's Daisy Label. This song is found on various collections of garage/psychedelic bands of the 60's. The guitar solo was played by well known guitarist Tippy Armstrong, a friend of the band & recorded on many later recordings with the writer/singer. The band existed from Summer of 1967 to the Summer of 1969 then changed names to The Rubberband(tm) for many years. Recordings under this name resumed in recent years by the writer & singer which is based out of Birdland Studio in Town Creek, Al.. Maybe Later was recorded in Ed Boutwell's old Church studio in Birmingham, Alabama. A DJ from Northport, Al. liked it & gave it to the agent/promoter David Keller who turned it into a promo record on his own Daisy Label. Few working bands played much original material in those days. The Omen & Their Luv were an exception to that & played a number of original works live throughout it's existence.
