Where It Starts is Ryan Kaminski's debut EP. The four songs feature a wide variety of instrumentation and draw influences from many different musical genres/eras. "Hey Girl" and "She Doesn't Like My Face" are throw-backs to earlier times with the first track going after the 60's Motown sound and the second featuring a 50's doo-wop vibe. "Gentlemen" changes gears to more of a latin pop/rock tango. The title track "Where It Starts" is Ryan's most contemporary song drawing on more modern influences like Coldplay and Bruno Mars. The songs speak of love in all its different forms and tell somewhat of a story from beginning to end.
