This is a song about letting go and letting be. It is a reminder that I shaped into song in a moment when I needed it most. Our tendency is to grasp and hang on- to love, to the safety of the known, to worldly possessions. It is something that is built into our instinct for survival. But when we hold on too tight we squeeze the life force out of things. There is a freedom and beauty in relinquishing control. Creating space is an ultimate act of love and trust.
